Some subway service has been restored in time for Friday’s commute after an F train derailment earlier in Queens, the Metropolitan Transportation Authority announced.

Local E and F train service has been restored on the Queens Boulevard line. R trains will run between Whitehall Street and 57th Street-Seventh Avenue in Manhattan. M trains are running between Metropolitan Avenue in Queens and Chambers Street in Manhattan.

Nineteen passengers were injured when a Manhattan-bound F train derailed on the express track near the 65th Street station in Woodside just before 10:30 a.m. Friday. After roughly 1,000 riders were evacuated from the train, authorities moved it back to the station. The train will be removed after Friday’s rush hour.

While the train is taken from the station, all service will be suspended along the Queens Boulevard line from 10 p.m. to 7 a.m. Saturday. The MTA said limited shuttle bus service will be provided and advised customers to use the 7 train, which is running without previously-planned service disruptions this weekend.

Weekend construction work on the 7, M and J lines has been cancelled.

The Long Island Railroad is cross-honoring MetroCards in both directions between Penn Station and Jamaica Station, including Kew Gardens, Forest Hills and Woodside, and stops between Atlantic Terminal and Jamaica.

The MTA said there is still no clear timetable for restoration of express service on the Queens Boulevard line.
