Police officer suspended, dismissed
Philadelphia Police Commissioner Charles Ramsey announced on Tuesday that Officer Jeffrey Cujdik has been suspended after an investigation by the department’s Internal Affairs Division.
Cujdik, 39, a 17-year veteran of the Philadelphia Police Department, allegedly violated departmental policies of knowingly and willfully making false entry in reports and records. He is also accused of lying or attempting to deceive regarding a material fact during the course of an investigation.
Cujdik had been assigned to the Narcotics Field Unit of the Philadelphia Police Department.
He is suspended for 30 days with the intent to dismiss, according to a news release.
