NYPD seeks 6 girls in connection to teenage Bronx beating
Police said Saturday that they’re looking for six teenage girls who might have ganged up on two others in the Bronx in late May.
Authorities said two 16-year-old girls were walking from the Campanaro Playground Basketball Court in Williamsbridge on May 31 towards the train after playing a game.
On their way to the 5 train, six girls approached them at around 6 p.m.
The two girls were suddenly jumped and were left bleeding and bruised with black eyes, bloody noses, lacerations and swelling to their faces and bodies.
One of the victims was treated at Jacobi Medical Center and was soon released.
Investigators were unable to say what if anything prompted the attack, but released six names as people of interest in their investigation.
Lauren London, Infinity Hammonds, Joy Starr, Samoi Emm, Celene Miller and Fanny Lexus are all being sought in connection to the attack.
Police ask that anyone with information about the assault or on the six named individuals to contact Crime Stoppers at 800-577-TIPS or to submit tips online.
