Man with pocket square suspected in West Village sexual assault: NYPD
A woman was sexually assaulted by a man with a pocket-square on a street in the West Village last week, police said.
The 30-year-old woman was walking near Greenwich and Horatio Streets on June 6 at around 4:20 a.m. when the well-dressed man grabbed her and sexually assaulted her, according to the NYPD.
The suspect then fled the scene. The woman was taken to a nearby hospital where she was treated and released, police said.
Police described the suspect as white, 25 to 35 years old, 5-foot-6 to 5-foot-7 and weighing 135 to 145 pounds.
The suspect was last seen wearing a black blazer with a pocket square, a light-colored dress shirt, black dress pants and black shoes, according to surveillance footage released by the NYPD.
