A teenage gunman shot off two rounds at a gathering in Queens on Saturday night before cops nabbed him and the alleged gun.

Investigators said Michael Jones, 19, was with a group of people near the intersection of Merrick Boulevard and 119th Avenue by Roy Wilkins Park at around 11:18 p.m.

Plainclothes cops were driving by when they said they noticed the group in a verbal spat before Jones pulled out a gun from the waist of his pants, pointed it at the group and shot off twice.

No one was injured by the shooting, authorities said.

A sergeant and three officers jumped out of their unmarked vehicle, reportedly prompting Jones to flee the scene and throw the gun about a block down from the where he discharged the weapon.

The cops chased Jones down the end of the block to the corner of the park before they apprehended him. They also recovered a loaded .25 caliber pistol at the scene.

Jones was arrested and charged with two degrees of criminal possession of a weapon, reckless endangerment and resisting arrest.

Police said Jones had at least seven prior arrests since 2012 for a range of offenses, including unlawful possession of marijuana, turnstile jumping and disorderly conduct.
