Hernandez due in Fall River court on prison assault charge
Former New England Patriot player and incarcerated murder suspect Aaron Hernandez is due to be arraigned today in Fall River Superior Court on allegations that he attacked a fellow inmate and threatened a prison guard.
Hernandez is being held at the Bristol County House of Correction in Dartmouth awaiting trial for the 2013 shooting death of Odin Lloyd.
In February, TMZ reported that Hernandez, 24, “beat the guy up pretty good.”
Hernandez, who has also been charged in a 2012 double shooting in Boston’s South End, is typically kept from the general population, but allegedly attacked the inmate as the two crossed paths in an isolated hallway.
