MBTA issues arrest warrant for Boylston Street train vandal
Transit Police announced today that they want to arrest an Allston man they believe defaced vintage MBTA trolleys earlier this year.
Daniel Nelligan, 25, is wanted for felony vandalism and trespassing relative for allegedly spray painting the historic trolleys at Boylston Street Station on January 14, 2014.
Transit Police said they identified Nelligan as the alleged vandal after an investigation.
“We are committed to identifying and in conjunction with the various District Attorneys prosecuting graffiti vandals who damage and/or deface MBTA property,” said Transit Police Detective Richard Sullivan.
Anyone with information on Nelligan can contact the Special Crimes Unit at 617-222-1170 or anonymously text a tip to 873873.
