A teenager revving an ATV through a Brooklyn sidewalk over the weekend led police to discover a large hidden cache of drugs, cash, guns and even more ATVs and the arrests of four men.

Complaints first came in about a person recklessly riding an ATV on a public sidewalk near the Brooklyn Navy Yard on Saturday at around 8:30 p.m., forcing people out of the way.

A manager at the Lockaway Self Storage on Carlton and Flushing avenues, not far from where the ATV drove people off the sidewalk, called authorities the next day about men in one of the units. Police soon obtained a warrant to search the storage unit on Monday.

Once inside, investigators not one ATV but 14 ATVs and dirt bikes, as well as four loaded firearms. Unknown to the police sorting through the trove inside, an officer on his way in found 19-year-old Joel Soto of Brooklyn on an ATV again on the sidewalk.

Soto gave chase, but the officer pursued and shortly apprehended him.

A subsequent warrant then led officers to another suspect’s car, in which they found a secret trap inside the 2007 Nissan Altima that held 500 glassines of heroin and $8,000.

Noel Tavarez, 26, Edwin Rodriguez, 22, and Pablo Soto, 21, were all arrested and charged following the second discovery with four counts each of criminal possession of a controlled substance and criminal possession of a weapon.

The younger Soto faces seven charges, including reckless endangerment, fleeing from an officer and failure to use a designated lane.
