$110,000 reward offered for arrest of carjackers who killed three kids
As of press-time Sunday, police are still hunting the two men who carjacked a 45-year-old woman’s Toyota 4Runner on Friday morning, then crashed into a sidewalk fruit stand at Germantown and Allegheny avenues after one of the car’s tires blew out, killing three children and injuring three adults.
The suspects fled on foot.
A $110,000 reward is currently being offered for information leading to the arrest of the suspects. The extra $10,000 offered by the Fraternal Order of Police Lodge #5 will expire at noon today.
The children, Keiearra Williams, 15, Thomas Reed, 10, and Terrence Moore, 7, were siblings. Their mother Keisha Williams, 34, is in critical condition.
The children were running the fruit stand as part of a church fundraiser.
