Cops are on the lookout for a taxi driver suspected of trying to sexually assault a female passenger while her three kids were in the car.

Authorities said the suspect picked up the woman and her three kids in Manhattan’s Inwood section on Aug. 24 at around 2:45 a.m. after telling her he was a cab driver.

The 26-year-old woman asked to be taken to Queens, with the carried ending at the Pan American Hotel in Elmhurst, which the city recently designated a homeless shelter.

But once the car was parked behind the building, police said the driver reached into the backseat and tried to sexually assault the mother of three.

The woman struggled to escape from the car with her kids but the assailant pushed back, even elbowing her 5-year-old during the attempted assault and pulling the 3-year-old out of the car.

Not long after but before he could hurt the family any more, investigators said the man up and turned as he ran off on foot.

The kids were taken to Elmhurst Hospital Center to be treated for minor injuries, officials said.

NYPD described the suspect as a Spanish-speaking Hispanic male in his 40s with an earring in his right ear and manicured eye brows. He was last wearing a dark blue sweat suit with white stripes.

Police are asking anyone with information to contact Crime Stoppers at 800-577-TIPS or to submit tips online.
