Letters: A picture’s only worth a thousand words if they’re in English
Last I heard, English was the language of America. If Metro wants to print a paper in another language, that’s your First Amendment right, but please print MY morning paper in English. Also, in regards to the mess in Syria, by using chemical weapons, the Syrians have, in fact, threatened the entire world with the increased potential that someone else will use them! I do not believe it is America’s place to respond. It should be immediate and international.

I was not happy with the front page of today’s Metro in Spanish; I almost threw it away until I realized it was just the front page. What was the reasoning behind that? I thought in the good old U.S. we should be speaking English first and other languages second. Sad, very sad!
