Letter: No one will stand up to Wall Street
Re: ‘Camelot now ruled by robber barons’ (Metro, June 18)
Letter writer Joseph DuPont hits the nail squarely on the head with his assessment of our recent presidents and Wall Street barons. The situation with the Fed profiteering off the national debt is disgraceful in itself. However, the fact that our leaders allow this to continue is very disturbing. All of Congress is either out to lunch or in someone’s pocket. It’s too bad that most of the media is also so blinded by their own agenda that they don’t care to tackle any of these situations. What happened to the “ballsy pressmen” of the past? No “balls,” I guess!
