The battle over the location of a second Boxers NYC sports bar hit another snag today, when the State Liquor Authority decided to postpone making a final decision on whether or not to give the gay watering hole a liquor license.

Boxers NYC already has one location in Chelsea on West 20th St., but the owners were hoping to open another Boxers NYC in Hells Kitchen on 766 10th Ave.

However, Community Board 4 rejected the bar’s application for a liquor license, citing it’s proximity to P.S. 111's schoolyard and the Sacred Heart of Jesus School.

SLA spokesman Bill Crowley said that both sides of the issue were addressed at today’s meeting, but that the SLA board needed more information and time to decide.

A new hearing has been scheduled for Feb. 29.
