Flyers Notebook: Road trip continues in Winnipeg

The Flyers recalled Harry Zolnierczyk from the Adirondack Phantoms following Monday night’s 5-2 loss to Toronto. Sean Couturier was sent home as he battles the flu.

Zolnierczyk played in 37 games last season for the Flyers. The team’s road trip continues through Canada Tuesday night in Winnipeg. The Flyers (5-7-1) beat the Jets 5-4 in overtime when the two squads met last February. Jaromir Jagr scored the game-winner in that one.

The Flyers take on the Jets in the second game of their season-long, six-game road trip. The Orange and Black are 1-6 on the road this season.
