Reports: Patriots agree to deal with Danny Amendola

Former Rams receiver Danny Amendola will ink a five-year deal with the Patriots according to multiple reports.
The Patriots reached an agreement with former Rams slot receiver Danny Amendola Wednesday night for a reported deal of $31 million over five years, according to NFL Network.
The deal averages out to be $6.1 million per year. Wes Welker received $6 million per year from the Broncos, according to reports.
Amendola had his best season with St. Louis in 2010 when he caught 85 balls for 689 yards and three touchdowns. The 27-year-old also posted 1,618 yards in kick return yardage in 2009 with St. Louis.
