Reward increases in abduction of jewelry store worker.

The reward for information leading to the arrest of suspects involved in the kidnapping and torture of a Jewelers’ Row worker has been upped to $20,0000.

Agents from a federal violent crimes task force nabbed Khayree Gay, 31, on Friday as he was leaving a hotel in Florence, South Carolina. But the hunt is still on for two accomplices, and possibly more.

The victim was forced into a van, bound and tortured with a Taser by three men who demanded she turn over the code to the safe at National Watch and Diamond Exchange.

She told the kidnappers she did not know the codes.

Gay was identified after a tipster told police where to find the van used in the abduction. Agents said they have recovered the van but would not say where they found it.

The three kidnappers used her debit card at a Wawa and Chinese restaurant before dumping her, alive but injured, in a Darby Township cemetery.
