Morgan Rousseau is a local reporter for Metro Boston, where she covers city news and the MBTA. She started her career in New York City, where she worked as a production assistant at Fox News Channel. The big city wasn't always glamorous, especially in the city's vile underbelly – the MTA. Reading Metro New York helped get her through hundreds of subway commutes without snapping, so one can only imagine her excitement to join the paper's editorial team in June 2012.
She attended The University of Massachusetts, Amherst, where she double majored in Journalism and Communication with a concentration in Film Studies.
Originally from Massachusetts' south coast, Morgan enjoys few things more than a trip to the beach, fresh seafood and the company of friends and family. She currently lives in the Boston-area with her two adorable pet rabbits; Penjamin J. Bunny and Thaddeus Von Thumperbottom.
She has a relentless passion for reporting, and is proud to cover the city of Boston.
