Police in Bucks County have announced an arrest in a 1984 rape and murder.

The decomposed body of Barbara Rowan was found in a wooded area -- reportedly by somone walking their dog -- on Aug. 16, 1984, about two weeks after her parents reported her missing.

Police have arrested George Shaw in Seminole County, Florida and Robert Sanders, in Monroe County, Pennsylvania.

"The case remained active for years," said Bensalem Public safety director Fred Harran.

Investigators believe Rowan was secretly babysitting Shaw's daughter to raise money for her struggling family, the Bucks County Courier Times reported. Shaw allegedly drugged her, then raped her, the paper said.
