In what might be the most post-modern crime in city history, video cameras recorded the suspect using a step ladder to steal a camera at 19th and Porter Streets in the city's Girard Estates neighborhood in the early morning hours of April 26.

Three days later, he stole a camera from the same location. In that instance he used a chair.
