Demi dressing up, going out

Demi Moore hit the town recently, shaking off her recent marital troubles to enjoy a star-studded Halloween party in Beverly Hills, according to Us Weekly. “She was having fun, [and] she drank. But she wasn’t the belle of the ball. Everyone at the party was drunk,” a source says.

Scarlett talks nude photos

Scarlett Johansson opened up about the nude photos that surfaced in September in a new interview with Vanity Fair. Turns out, they were for her now-ex, Ryan Reynolds: “There’s nothing wrong with that. It’s not like I was shooting a porno. Although there’s nothing wrong with that either.”

A scary flight for Depp

Johnny Depp had a brush with death on a private plane recently. “The plane just shut down. The sound of the engines stopped,” Depp tells Life magazine of a flight he took with “Rum Diary” director Bruce Robinson. “Bruce and I were looking at each other, and I think I said, ‘Is this it?’ It was like this weird extended moment when you’re just floating for a second and you could feel this unpleasant descent.”

Lohan back in court today

Lindsay’s back for another probation hearing today, and she’s changed her tune. She’ll admit to previously violating her probation, says TMZ, and ask the judge for mercy, as she’s now working hard at the morgue. We’re betting she lands in jail anyway — if there’s one thing we know after this week, it’s that there will be no mercy for gossip columnists who want to make it home in time for “Modern Family.”

Fine, we’ll bite, Jessica

After Kardashiangate broke, Jessica Simpson must have finally realized no one was going to pay her the $500,000 she was hoping to score for her pregnancy announcement. Monday night, she posted a photo of herself on her personal website in a tight mummy costume, holding her pregnant belly with the caption “It’s true, I’m going to be a mummy.” Congrats, Jess — months ago.
