Pop superstar Whitney Houston will reportedly be laid to rest on Saturday, Feb. 18th.

The 48-year-old singer was found dead in her hotel room at the Beverly Hilton Hotel last Saturday, just hours before she was slated to appear at a pre-Grammy gala.

The singer readily admitted her struggles with substance abuse, but the cause of death has not yet been determined.

Houston, a Newark native, rose to fame after honing her talent as a gospel singer at the New Hope Baptist Church.

That very same church will host her funeral, Pastor Joe Carter told the Daily News.  The invitation-only service will feature a star-studded choir, Carter said.

The Whigham Funeral Home will be handling the singer’s services, though she will reportedly not be buried in Newark.
