Nineteen-year-old Hearin Ko was still floating on a cloud of glitz and glamor yesterday, hours after sharing the stage of the Dolby Theatre with her Hollywood heroes.

The Emerson College film student beat out more than 1,000 other students in a contest to win a spot on the Oscar stage handing out statuettes.

As she waited to board a plane back to Boston, Ko gave Metro a breakdown of her Oscar night:

Best moment: “When we were introduced on stage after so many celebrities and filmmakers. It just felt… I was so grateful.”

Most surreal moment: “Standing next to Jack Nicholson was very, very surreal. I really like The Shining. It is one of my favorite movies.”

Scariest moment: “Every time I held the Oscar I was very scared. It’s very, very heavy. At one point I had to hold two, one in each arm. I felt like I was having a work out. Didn’t want it to drop it on stage.”

Funniest moment: “Most of the laughs we got was seeing our peers onstage. There was a TV backstage so we could watch each other, and (another student presenter) had a moment where he was so confused… It was all caught on camera.”

Favorite celebrity interaction: “Daniel Radcliffe. He was really nervous backstage, and we said ‘You’ll do fine.’ He was tap dancing on the sides, practicing for his performance. At the end of the show he looked so happy. He was high-fiving Jason Gordon-Levitt. You can’t beat that.”

Most inspirational moment: “Ben Affleck told us to stick with what we’re doing, because one day we’ll make it. We got so many encouraging words from these people we look up to. It made me really believe that I can do this if I keep going for it.”
