Not only has winemaker Jean-Marc Dulong of Grands Vins de Bordeaux created a blend to commemorate Downton Abbey, he’s crafted two (cue a Maggie Smith double take). Both the Blanc white wine and the Claret red wine are made using the same Bordeaux resources and traditions that would have served the Downton Era. French Bordeaux was the wine of choice for nobility in Edwardian England, so you can be sure Thomas would have snatched a bottle.
