South Street Seaport
19 Fulton St.
Tree lighting: Nov. 29, 6 p.m.
For the 30th year, a holiday tree will spark up the Seaport. Along with the lighting ceremony, See/Change’s ice rink will open, and there will be live music.

Madison Square Park
Entrance at 25th Street
and Fifth Avenue
Tree lighting: Dec. 10, 3:30 p.m.
Did you know that Madison Square Park was the first place with a community holiday tree in America? This tradition will brighten up the park again this year, as will performances by the New York Life Singers and Audra Rox.

American Museum of Natural History
Central Park West
at 79th Street
Tree goes up: Nov. 25
Who needs lights? National and international origami artists created all sorts of paper animals to decorate the tree at the museum.

Time Warner Center
10 Columbus Cir.
5 p.m.-midnight every night, now-Jan. 3
It’s hard to see stars in the city sky, but thanks to TWC’s Holiday Under the Stars, twelve 14-foot stars will hang from the ceiling and change colors to classic holiday music.

Rockefeller Center
30 Rockefeller Plz.
Tree lighting: Dec. 4, 7 p.m.
We recommend watching from home on NBC — you’ll be warm and away from the crowds.

Lincoln Square
Broadway from the Time Warner Center to 68th Street
Tree lighting: Dec. 2, 5:30 p.m.
At the 14th Annual Winter’s Eve fest, enjoy food, fun and, of course, a tree. More than 30 restaurants will offer tastings.
