Going prix fixe for Passover
This year, skip the prep work, clean up and piles of matzah crumbs and have a Passover-style “seder” out on the town. Of course, these spots won’t work if you’re keeping kosher and going for a traditional Passover meal — but the place serving Mexican Passover dinner probably already tipped you off to that.
This intimate South Street spot is serving four courses, including chicken liver mousse hors d’oevres, housemade gefilte fish, brisket and matzo kugel and hardboiled eggs, on April 14 and 15. Dessert options include caramelized apple-matzo kugel. The whole shebang costs $58 a person and $29 for kids 12 and under.

Over in Fairmount, London Grill is offering its annual Seder Dinner all week, with four courses mixing modern and traditional recipes for $45 — plus Passover-inspired cocktails.

Cantina Feliz is doing an unusual twist on a four-course Passover prix fixe, also all week long. For $27, enjoy wild king salmon tostada, matzo ball soup, a braised short rib taco and flourless chocolate cake with sweet potato caramel and rhubarb mousse.
