Is Amanda Bynes officially a New Yorker now that she has a shrine in her honor?

East Village blog EV Grieve posted a photo of shrine on East Ninth and Stuyvesant. The shrine, including a photo and candles with Bynes’ face on them, is in honor of the actress who has lately been caught in what some are calling a downward spiral.

Bynes’ erratic behavior has recently concerned her friends, who are calling for help.

In an interview with ABC News, Jonathon Jaxson, a Hollywood publicist and Bynes’ friend, said he was worried after speaking to her on the phone.

“She started ranting and she was drunk out of her mind. She said, ‘I don’t want to live anymore,’” Jaxson said.

Jaxson asked for New York City police to check on the “Easy A” actress.

Bynes has been acting erratically recently. Her behavior includes tweeting topless photo of herself and photos in which she is only wearing a bra and pantyhose.

“About to put on makeup!” she tweeted. “I weigh 135, I’ve gained weight! I need to be 100 lbs!”

Bynes has approximately 896,000 followers on Twitter.

Her behavior has even prompted her colleagues to speak up. Jenny McCarthy, Bynes’ “What I like About You” co-star, tweeted, “police are at Amanda Bynes house. I hope they get her help. Enough of this circus.”

The tweet irked Bynes who responded with “You’re ugly! Police weren’t at my house, old lady! Shut the f*** up.”

Kyle Richards of the “Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” also tweeted, “every photo she posts she’s alone!! I can’t take it. I want to cry.”
