Dennis Rodman got drunk on Kamikaze shots

Dennis Rodman

I don’t know what’s more embarrassing — publicly canoodling with Kim Jong-un or publicly canoodling with a round of Kamikaze shots.

When I read a TMZ headline this morning placing the former wedding dress-wearing basketball star/current self-appointed ambassador to North Korea and the word “kamikaze” in the same sentence, my initial thoughts wandered to some disturbing (but not altogether farfetched?) scenario in which Rodman’s new buddy Kim had convinced him to sacrifice himself in a flaming display of loyalty to the Democratic Nation of North Korea.

Luckily, “Dennis Rodman on a Kamikaze Mission” is just another misleading headline in the giant dung pile of misleading click-bait headlines that is the Internet, and Rodman has merely fallen off the wagon.

Rodman, who’s been in and out of rehab over the years, was recently spotted getting hammered at a South Beach club called E11even Club — hammered on Kamikaze shots.

Not that there’s anything funny about relapsing or alcoholism, but Kamikaze shots? That’s a little funny. I’m pretty sure Kamikazes are exclusively the shot of choice of 19-year-old college girls who just want to dance. I wouldn’t touch a Kamikaze shot with Dennis’, er, rod and I once WAS a 19-year-old college girl.
