Australian electropop group Cut Copy is streaming its new track “In These Arms of Love” in advance of a Record Store Day release, and Philadelphia indie band Clap Your Hands Say Yeah is out with a track from its fourth LP on April 7.

Cut Copy is due to mark Record Store Day with a 10″ vinyl featuring two songs — “In These Arms of Love” and “Like Any Other Day” — from the recording sessions for most recent LP “Free Your Mind.” The former track is now streaming.

“A synth-powered power ballad imbued with equal parts intimacy and lavishness, its slightly sensuous undertones would’ve lent an intriguing extra layer to the album’s ‘summer of love’ motif,” writes Consequence of Sound.

Stereogum calls it “a giddy, expansive thumper with a healthy slathering of reverb and a disorienting synth-effect that wouldn’t sound out of place on a late-period Animal Collective track.”

Clap Your Hands Say Yeah is preparing to self-release “Only Run,” its fourth studio LP, in early June. First single “Coming Down” features Matt Berninger, frontman of The National.

“Alec Ounsworth’s weirdy marmite voice with Berninger’s kinda grumpy gruff one is the duet you never knew you wanted,” writes Sleep in Music, while PerfectMidnightWorld says “the two have created what sounds like CYHSY dipping into shoegaze and post punk waters.”
