‘Arrested Development’ creator says Bluths will ‘definitely’ return

We haven’t seen the last of “Arrested Development.”

Two months after Netflix launched Season 4 of “Arrested Development,” we’re still talking about the return of the Bluth family and whether we’ll get to see more of their adventures.

Mitchell Hurwitz, the creator of “Arrested Development,” who is currently in Montreal for the Just for Laughs Comedy Festival, said he “definitely” felt the Bluth family would be back.

“I don’t want to get into a whole negotiation right now … but I’ve got a family to feed,” he said to Ted Sarandos, chief content officer at Netflix, at the festival.

While the fourth season of the show was a success, many criticized the episodes for being disjointed. In the last season, each episode unfolded around one of the main characters. Hurwitz said when the show returns, it will likely not take that format again.

“I kinda go back and forth between [a movie] and a series. But here’s the most important thing: Whatever we do, I want to get the cast all together and not do another anthology thing, and that’s why I keep thinking about kicking off with a special or a three-part show and then going into a series,” Hurwitz said.

So, who’s excited for Season 5?
