Amanda Bynes was arrested last night for smoking marijuana. Police arrived at Bynes’midtown apartment building after her doorman called them to report she that was smoking pot in the lobby, according to News 4 New York.

When cops arrived at the troubled star’s 36th floor apartment, they allegedly found it reeking of marijuana and full of drug paraphernalia. Like the criminal mastermind that she is, Bynes threw her bong out the window, so whoever caught a flying bong that dropped from the heavens in midtown Manhattan last night, the police would like a word.

Bynes was charged with criminal possession of marijuana, tampering with evidence, and reckless endangerment (of bongs). After her arrest, she was taken to Roosevelt Hospital for a psychiatric evaluation, then on to the police station to be processed. She is expected to appear in court today.

Just yesterday, Amanda Bynes lashed out at how In Touch Weekly has been portraying her, and who can blame her when the cover story on her gets a “Destroyed by Fame” headline?

The magazine apparently used “fake altered photos” with the story “because they f—ing hate me,” Bynes explained on Twitter. (The magazine also claimed to have photos taken inside Bynes’ New York City apartment.)

“They used an old shot of me on the cover with a bad angle of my old nose before I had surgery to reshape my profile and to remove the webbing from my eyes,” Bynes tweeted. “I have to sue because that’s not my apartment, those aren’t my clothes!”
