The Word: Jimmy Fallon will parody Game of Thrones tonight
Attention, fans of Game of Thrones based comedy: Your very specific niche interest will be catered to tonight on “Late Night with Jimmy Fallon.”
Fallon will premiere “A Game of Desks” tonight on his show, according to Access Hollywood. Fallon’s show has created a number of other office-based parodies of popular TV shows, including “Lost” and “Downton Abbey.” From the photos, it looks like they’ll be starting their parody with Season One. Fallon appears to be dressed as Ned Stark, who – two-year-old spoiler alert – is no longer around on “Game of Thrones.” Or at least, well, not all of him. Sometimes his decaying head makes cameos.
Fallon also appears to be dressed as Daenerys in one photo. Will he be more comfortable with nudity than the real Daenerys? At least one “Game of Thrones” star has had enough of baring her breasts, according to the New York Post.
“One of the girls in the show who got her [dress] off the most in the first couple of seasons now doesn’t at all,” GoT star Oona Chaplin, who plays Talisa Maegyr, told reporters. “She said, ‘I want to be known for my acting, not for my breasts.’ ”
Oona didn’t specify who she was referring to, but Emilia Clarke, who plays Daenerys Targaryen, certainly fits: She sure used to go naked on the show, and she sure doesn’t anymore.
