The Word: Watch Paris Jackson’s makeup tutorial

Say what you will about Michael Jackson, but his kids seem to be turning out fairly down-to-earth. His daughter Paris, 15, has started doing what seemingly every girl her age does: recording lengthy video selfies in her room where she talks about the makeup she likes. Check out her makeup tutorial below.

Paris actually comes off as awfully charming. Sporting a choppy reddish haircut that’s reminiscent of Miley Cyrus’ current look, she sings little songs to herself, cringes at the scary-sounding chemicals in her makeup, and proclaims her love for Maybelline. She’s also got some adorably 15-year-old makeup advice: “If you’ve got bangs, or hair covering your forehead, you don’t really need to worry about blending,” she explains earnestly.

So is this 19-minute video the first in a series? Maybe not — Paris says she didn’t upload it herself. “just a heads up to those who have seen the makeup video, i really don’t know how that got onto youtube haha i actually don’t have a account,” she tweeted.

The Philadelphia Eagles are hoping Paris wants to be a cheerleader when she grows up.

TMZ is reporting Eagles head cheerleader Barbara Zaun said she watched Paris Jackson in action and liked her moves.

“We think Paris will make a great Eagle cheerleader!” Zaun told TMZ. “We thought that she had a lot of poise, confidence and enthusiasm in her cheer performance. … Paris has that ‘wow factor’ that makes a great cheerleader.”
