If you got tired of watching Theon Greyjoy’s agony on “Game of Thrones” this season – gotcha! That’s exactly how the “Game of Thrones” creators wanted you to feel.

“We wanted the viewer to be in it with Theon and to not know what’s going on,” says showrunner D.B. Weiss. “We want people to be confused. We want people to be asking the questions that Theon is asking – ‘Why is this happening to me? Who are you and what do you want?’”

Well, now we have the answers to those questions. ‘Who’ is D.B. Weiss and it’s happening because he wants us to be bummed out. Mission super accomplished.

Most news out of the “Game of Thrones” camp is a bummer of late. Maisie Williams doesn’t think Arya and Gendry are headed for a happy ending.

“It’s just too cliché, I think. [Author] George R.R. Martin would never do that. If you want something to happen on the show, it almost certainly will not happen,” she points out to the Huffington Post. That may disappoint Arya/Gendry shippers, but Maisie thinks Arya might be better off alone. “It’s always gonna go the other way. And personally, I also see Arya being on her own in the end and doing quite well.”
