The Word: Miley Cyrus’s threatening tweet to her dad

A word to the wise: If Miley Cyrus is trying to get a hold of you, answer her texts. Otherwise she might publicly threaten you.

Yesterday Miley tweeted at her father, Billy Ray Cyrus, “@billyraycyrus since you won’t reply to my texts I’m giving you an hour to tell the truth or ill tell it for you.” Attached to the tweet was a pic of Miley smiling for the camera with an unidentified older woman, according to Hollywood Life.

Billy Ray Cyrus is in the midst of a divorce from Miley’s mom, Tish Cyrus. Does Miley’s tweet have something to do with their split? We’ll never know, as it was quickly deleted and disavowed by Miley, who tweeted, “Wtf? My twitter was just actin all types of cray!”

So there are three possibilities here. One, Miley was hacked. Two, she meant to send a DM and sent a tweet instead. Or three, Billy Ray did what she wanted before the hour was up.

Miley Cyrus became the latest bystander to be hit by Amanda Bynes’ rapid fire Twitter insults. “@mileycyrus ur ugly,” Amanda tweeted. However, pop star Miley has no plans to sink to Amanda’s level – although she did aim a mild jab Amanda’s way, suggesting that the troubled star is trying to piggyback on Miley’s Twitter fame.

“I was rooting for her comeback until she started attacking me, and I just thought it was hilarious that she mentioned my name the moment I was the worldwide trending topic on Twitter,” Miley said in an interview on Hot 99.5.
