As Kate Middleton’s due date draws near, the mother of the future king or queen must be feeling overwhelmed. Not to worry: Snooki’s on the case.

The “Jersey Shore” star penned a letter offering maternal advice to the Duchess of Cambridge. Snooks warns Kate that her “little golden nugget” will keep her awake, but “Just do your makeup, put a tiara on, and you’ll look beautiful as usual.”

Snooki also says that singing calms down her son Lorenzo, but she suggests that if Kate lacks confidence in her singing voice, she could outsource lullaby duties to Elton John. Hmm, what pop star would the Jersey Queen draft to lull Lorenzo? Presumably Springsteen.

Kate isn’t due until July 13 but outside the palace walls the media machine is going into overdrive. Without public appearances to fuel endless maternity fashion articles, any scrap of information is eagerly gobbled up (see my plethora of Google Alerts re: Kate’s doctor).

Shady “sources” have apparently come forward to tell us that Kate is all about the natural birth, while everyone is playing the baby-name guessing game (us included). So despite the relative openness of the royal family right now, the media is having to scrap for tidbits of gossip. If nothing else, the baby will have a lot of reading material one day.
