Fans of cult comedy “Arrested Development” were pleasantly surprised when Netflix produced a fourth season of the show. Now they may get a fifth as well.

Brian Grazer, co-chairman of Imagine Entertainment, says they’re talking to Netflix about filming more “Arrested Development.” “We are in conversations with them to do another,” Grazer told Bloomberg Television. “They are interested in doing that.”

Awesome! But also, it sure is nerve-racking to be an “Arrested Development” fan, isn’t it? Just when you think it’s over, it’s time to get your hopes up again. Like having a kid who wakes up from a coma, then keeps falling back into a coma. Well, maybe not quite as bad as that.

The new season of the Emmy-winning series was written with binge-watchers in mind, star Jason Bateman, 44, told Reuters.

“This notion that you can release an entire season of a television show on one day, and people can take their time to watch it or they can binge, informed the actual writing of this whole story,” he said.

“There are certain scenes that repeat in multiple episodes but are told from a different angle. That’s just something you couldn’t do on broadcast television,” Bateman said.
