Poor Lea Michele is an incredible trooper. Just weeks after her boyfriend and “Glee” co-star Cory Monteith’s sudden death from a drug overdose, she’s already back to work on the show where they met.

“First day of glee today..And at my first wardrobe fitting for Rachel Berry for Season Five! I’ve missed her so much❤,” Michele tweeted yesterday.

The actress is likely filming one of the series’ first episodes, but she and the rest of the cast and crew have what’s sure to be a heartbreaking task ahead: The third episode of the upcoming season will address Monteith’s death. After that, they’ll take a break so the production team can reshape the season without Monteith.

The actress only recently broke her silence about Monteith’s loss. Two weeks after his death, Lea Michele posted a message on Twitter along with this gut-wrenching photo of the two of them taken shortly before Monteith died from a drug overdose.

“Thank you all for helping me through this time with your enormous love & support,” she wrote. “Cory will forever be in my heart.” Michele has been busy helping Monteith’s family with funeral arrangements as well as dealing with the “Glee” cast and crew.
