The Word: Mice spotted at Lady Gaga’s dad’s restaurant
Lady Gaga’s father, Paul Germanotta, just can’t catch a break. The New York City Health Inspectors recently downgraded his restaurant, Joanne Trattoria, from an A health rating to a B after an inspection. And now, just after regaining its A rating, customers say his restaurant is infested with mice.
According to Radar, horrified diners spotted mice roaming the floor and patio at Joanne Trattoria. Some even snapped pictures of the pests making themselves at home.
To be fair, it looks like the mice might have just been on the outdoor patio. Diners who choose to eat outside have to expect a certain proximity to nature. Still, NYC mice aren’t the kind of nature most of us prefer to commune with.
Lady Gaga’s been laying low lately, and it’s not because she’s grown tired of the spotlight. She had to cancel much of her spring tour to recover from surgery for an injury that was much more serious than she initially let on to fans.
“I had broken my hip. Nobody knew, and I haven’t even told the fans yet. But when we got all the MRIs finished before I went to surgery there were giant craters, a hole in my hip the size of a quarter, and the cartilage was just hanging out the other side of my hip. I had a tear on the inside of my joint and a huge breakage,” the singer told Women’s Wear Daily.
