As usual, “Pretty Little Liars” fans were left gasping by the season finale.

Spoiler alert for last night’s episode: If you haven’t seen it yet, avert your eyes now. Of course, if you’re a true “Pretty Little Liars” fan, you probably can’t resist uncovering new secrets any way you can, so read on.

Last night’s episode was packed with reveals: “A” has some sort of hi-tech spy lair, Aria’s teacher boyfriend knows all about it, and Alison may still be alive. That last bit may leave fans wondering if the show is edging toward reuniting its storyline with the books, in which Alison survives and it’s her twin, Courtney, who bought it. (Or they both lived? It got confusing.) Not likely, says Sasha Pieterse, who plays Alison.

“I think the writers and the producers have kind of mentioned that they’re not going in that route,” the actress confirms. “If there is such a thing as a twin in Rosewood, it’s probably not for Alison, that’s also something to keep in mind.”

Ah! So someone has an evil twin, just not Alison. Maybe it’s Fitz. I’m sure fans would be relieved he’s not actually “A,” just a high schooler-dating perv.
