The Word: Kylie Jenner in three-car crash

When I finally got my driver’s license in high school, I drove straight to the library to celebrate. (I was a super cool teen.) As I was leaving, I turned too sharply out of a parking spot and dinged the car next to mine. I had to call my parents and tell them I’d already had an accident when my license wasn’t even six hours old.

All of which puts me in the unfamiliar position of keenly identifying with a Kardashian. See, Kylie Jenner, Kim Kardashian’s 16-year-old sister, got her license three weeks ago. Yesterday, according to TMZ, she got in a three-car pileup in Calabasas.

Kylie slammed her $125,ooo Mercedes SUV into the car in front of her, which slammed into the car in front of it. Luckily everyone’s fine (except the cars). Kylie checked in with the other drivers to make sure everyone was OK and exchanged information, then left before the cops arrived. Witnesses said everyone was very cordial. Personally I would have demanded a play date with North West in exchange for my silence, but to each her own.

Of course, the Kardashian clan has worse to deal with at the moment. The kind of rumors that have surfaced over the last few days — that Khloe Kardashian kicked husband Lamar Odom out of the house, that he’s gone missing, that he’s got a serious addiction to crack, or prescription pills, or whatever — would normally be squashed immediately.

So something’s up, and ESPN thinks they know what it is: A source tells them that Odom is in a Los Angeles hotel, where friends are trying to get him help for an unspecified drug problem. Odom’s agent would not confirm this, but he did tell the network that his client is not MIA. ”Lamar is not missing. His wife knows exactly where he is,” he said.
