What does Vanity Fair know about Gwyneth Paltrow that she doesn’t want published?

The magazine is reportedly planning one of those long, dishy, gossipy exposés that they so love to do about minor affiliates of the Kennedys. Only this one’s about Gwyneth. And she’s not happy. According to Page Six, she’s been calling everyone she knows and telling them not to cooperate with Vanity Fair for the story – or ever again, for anything else.

What could have the queen of organic perfection so frantic? The magazine is reportedly looking into the “Iron Man” star’s friendship with Miami billionaire Jeff Soffer – specifically, whether they were more than friends.

Paltrow spent several days partying with Soffer in Miami when he reopened his Fontainebleu Hotel in 2008. Paltrow’s husband, Coldplay musician Chris Martin, did not attend the festivities, where Paltrow apparently spent some time closed off in a private section with Soffer.

Did they slip away from prying eyes to get busy? That would surely be a big enough scandal for an A-list star to try to suppress. However, this is Gwyneth we’re talking about. Maybe VF just plans to report that she ate some high fructose corn syrup one time.
