The Word: Kelly Osbourne and Lady Gaga are patching up their feud

Lady Gaga - sorry, your Ladyship, but America's had its fill of you, according to the PPP poll
Lady Gaga is not holding this grudge.

Our long national nightmare is over: Lady Gaga and Kelly Osbourne are about to be friends again.

Gaga and Osbourne have apparently been feuding for four years. This is the first I’ve heard of it, but Kelly seems anxious to remedy that. Lady Gaga appeared on Sharon Osbourne’s talk show this weekend, where she gave her a birthday cake for her daughter, apparently to make peace. Kelly did not take it well.

She then tweeted (and later deleted) a picture of the cake tagged “EatMyS—” and “Hypocrisy.”

Gaga, sounding like a weary babysitter to a bratty charge who won’t go to sleep, replied, “I didn’t know it was your B-day until this afternoon. Meant as a peace offering. Happy Birthday.”

Later Kelly rethought her tone. “@ladygaga I acted like a child last night,” she tweeted. “Just not into publicity stunts call me & we will end this like adults I dont want 2 fight anymore.”

They’ve both since deleted much of this exchange, so maybe that healing phone call really did take place. What set off this terrible feud to begin with? It all began back in 2009, when Kelly called Gaga a butterface. That’s why I’m kind of Team Gaga. WTF?
