Stars: They’re just like us. Some of them are worried about Justin Bieber’s arrest, some of them think it’s hilarious. Count Seth Rogen in the latter camp.

Strong words. Do the two of them have a history? They don’t exactly seem like they’d hit it off.

Actor/director Zach Braff is with Rogen, hijacking a pro-Bieber hashtag sarcastically.

Plenty of other stars, though, are concerned about Bieber’s problems, which are obviously quite real. Ellen Degeneres, always classy, bypassed easy quips to express concern.

Lady Gaga threw the weight of her own fandom behind that of her fellow pop star. “Hey monsters. I know everyone today is taking about Justin’s arrest and all sorts of words and judgments are happening on the Internet. Everyone is entitled to their own opinion, and to stand up for themselves, but I think we should be supportive of Beliebers,” she wrote on her Little Monsters website.

There’s really only one group that can even begin to relate to what’s going on in Bieber’s head: fellow child stars. Mackenzie Phillips, a former teen TV star who’s been to rehab many times, told People that she doesn’t think people should mock Justin’s smiling mugshot. “You look at that mugshot, and you see he’s smiling. But look in his eyes. There’s fear there, I think.”

“Matilda” star Mara Wilson, who’s now an adult (I know, like sand through the hourglass), has become an outspoken critic of the toll that showbiz takes on kids. She weighed in on Bieber’s troubles:

Meanwhile, Justin won’t be getting a lot of sympathy from one former NFL player:

No big surprise there — Johnson is Bieber’s neighbor.
