VIDEO: Kristen Wiig impersonates Harry Styles on ‘The Tonight Show’

Yes, Kristen, we were as shocked that you picked a movie this terrible.
Even Kristen Wiig can’t believe Kristen Wiig doesn’t know Harry Styles is British.

The new “Tonight Show” is going great: Jimmy Fallon is already snagging a-list guests like One Direction heartthrob Harry Styles. Well, sort of.

Fallon’s old “Saturday Night Live” castmate Kristen Wiig stopped by the revamped show in full Harry Styles drag, from her poofy hair to her pointy shoes. Her commitment to the character only went skin deep, though: As soon as she began to answer questions as “Harry,” it was clear she didn’t know One Direction from a handsome, tuneful hole in the ground.

Wiig’s full appearance is below. Come for the beginning, when “Harry” is startled to learn he is from England. Stay for the end, when “he” attempts to sing One Direction’s hit song “You Don’t Know You’re Beautiful,” and fails spectacularly.

This isn’t the first time Wiig has impersonated a celebrity she knows nothing about: Last year on “Late Night,” she demonstrated hilarious ignorance of basketball while Jimmy Fallon interviewed her as “Michael Jordan.” Watch it if you’d like to weep from laughter.
