Is this man Michael Jackson’s secret son?

Billie Jean may have been his lover after all.

Brandon Howard, a 31-year-old singer who looks and sounds an awful lot like the King of Pop, participated in a DNA test that reportedly shows a 99.9% probability he’s Michael Jackson’s son.

Not so fast, though. It’s not Howard who went public with the DNA test results on TMZ. A man named Alki David filmed the DNA reveal with his company FilmOn.com and Dr. Joseph Goodman, a Beverly Hills dental surgeon, apparently obtained the DNA. Goodman claims he obtained Jackson’s DNA from a dental device of Jackson’s that he bought at auction. That hardly sounds like an uncontaminated sample. What’s more, Howard himself has distanced himself from the whole thing: In a video posted on his Facebook page, he claims that he’s not the one who alerted the media.

“It seems a lot of people are speaking on my behalf, so I’m going to keep this short and simple,” Howard says in the video. “One, I did not call TMZ, I didn’t put out a story, nothing. Two, I never self proclaimed to be Michael Jackson’s son. Three, I am definitely not suing the estate. I have been taken care of very well and also I make my own cash. Four, it’s true I had a DNA test, but this had nothing to do with any of this, I swear on my life.”

That video probably won’t do much to dissuade anyone – Howard is strikingly similar to Jackson in appearance and mannerisms. Michael Jackson’s estate lawyer isn’t buying it, though, telling the Daily News, “It sounds like a fraud to me.”
Michael Jackson isn’t around to confirm or deny, but he may have done so from beyond the grave – Howard’s mother is Miki Howard, a singer who went by Billy in the eighties. Howard was born in 1983, a year before “Billie Jean.”
