Maze featuring Frankie Beverly

Maze featuring Frankie Beverly

Three amazing R&B acts will join together on stage at the Mann for a night filled with talent and soul.

Maze featuring Frankie Beverly have worked for nearly 30 years to create a sound that is unique. The group conquered the 80’s with hits like “Travelin’ Man,” “Feel That You’re Feeling,” “Joy and Pain,” and “Look in Your Eyes,” just to name a few. Maze has been hailed by The All Music Guide as “the ultimate urban contemporary group, though they’re much more soulful and funky than many of their counterparts.”

The Isley Brothers have enjoyed one of the longest, most influential, and most diverse careers in the realm of popular music—over the course of nearly a half century of performing, the group’s music ranged from gritty R&B to Motown soul to disco to blistering funk. As the group that put Jimi Hendrix (then known as Jimmy James) on the map, The Isley Brothers went on to produce classic hits such as “Shout,” “Who’s That Lady”, “The Pride,” “Take Me to the Next Phase, Pt. 1,” “I Wanna Be With You, Pt. 1,” and “Don’t Say Goodnight.”

Songwriter, musician, and producer, Kem overcame homelessness and addiction to become one of the most popular R&B artists of the 2000s. His 2010 album Intimacy debuted at number two on the Billboard 200; the single “Why Would You Say” received much recognition including Grammy nominations for Best R&B Male Performance and Best R&B Song.
