Twilight in the Gardens at Philadelphias Magic Gardens

Twilight in the Gardens at Philadelphia’s Magic Gardens will explore storytelling through the ages

Musical guest The Bailey Hounds will fill the gardens with grit, wisdom, and melancholy with their self-dubbed style “cemetery blues.” Featured artist, Katharyn Coleman, will teach guests storytelling through prayer flags, a tradition than originated in south Asia over a thousand years ago. Participants are invited to pass down their own story by creating a prayer flag to take home.

Twilight in the Gardens is held every fourth Friday of the month from April-October. Each one of these special evenings feature a unique array of arts experiences paired with a live musical performance. These one-of-a-kind events also give visitors the chance to learn more about PMG through fun, casual mini-tours of the space and to view the temporary exhibitions hanging in our galleries. All Twilight in the Gardens evenings are BYOBB (Bring Your Own Booze and Blanket) but drinks will also be available with drink tickets. This week, Narragansett Brewing Company will be on hand. Reservations are not required – just show up and have a good time!
