WHYY Community Forums Discuss Hurricane Sandy

WHYY/Newsworks and the Penn Project for Civic Engagement will host a series of five community forums focusing on the Jersey Shore after hurricane Sandy.

These forums are FREE and open to the public, but registration is required. Citizens who live, vacation or make a living at the Jersey Shore are welcome to participate in this public dialogue where trained moderators will motivate discussion among participants about what individuals, communities and governments can do to limit the harm done by the next storm. Input from participants will inform the work being done by grantees of the New Jersey Recovery Fund, including Creative New Jersey, Sustainable New Jersey and the Citizens Campaign.
