From Sept. 16-17 and Sept. 20-24, XIX (Nineteen) will offer Taste of XIX, a three-course pre-fixe tasting menu, in the most opulent of settings.
The swanky restaurant sits on the 19th floor of the Hyatt at the Bellevue, complete with stunning views of Philadelphia and top-notch food.
For the special pre-fixe menu, guests choose three options per course: appetizer, entree and dessert. Created by Chef Ned Maddock, the menu includes seasonal delights and locally sourced ingredients. Among the selections: squash soup with spiced pepitas, cider gastrique and yogurt; burrata salad with pears & grilled escarole pancetta; mushroom cannoli with house ricotta & San Marzanos topped with porcini bechamel; Skuna Bay salmon with curried yogurt, Kohlrabi and coconut Milk; s’mores cake with salted caramel and coffee ice cream.
The three-course menu costs $45 and for wine pairings, an additional $30 will be charged.
