Philly is a fantastic food city and thankfully, a city that loves donuts. Getting your fix of sugary, doughy goodness on National Donut Day is an easy task for us because we have so many options and nationally recognized options at that. No holes about it, if you’re looking for the world’s most delicious donut, you’ve come to the right place. The biggest challenge will be having just one, but remember — diets were made to be broken — on holidays at least!

Federal Donuts
1632 Sansom St.

Word has gotten around around the country about this place. Offering up simple “Hot Fresh” varieties like Vanilla Spice and Strawberry Lavender as well as fancier options like Chocolate Eclair and Guava Poppy, you need these donuts in your life. If you’re craving some protein, they serve up amazing fried chicken to go along with your donut, too! (Life’s all about balance, right?)

Dottie’s Donuts

Love donuts but you’re vegan? Dottie’s Donuts has got your back! Their brick and mortar location only opened a few months ago but they are already selling out of their much-raved about vegan donuts. According to their Facebook, they’ve got S’More Donuts available all weekend long.

Beiler’s Donuts
51 N. 12th St.
facebook.com/beilersdonuts

Fodor’s Travel Guide named Beiler’s as one of the top 20 dessert destinations in America with their mouth wateringly good donuts. You gotta try the Mocha Creme. Or the seasonal Rhubarb Creme! Or actually, you should just get a dozen and try as many as you can! At $9.95, do-nut say it isn’t a bargain.
